Our commitment
DRAFTNIGHT LLC is committed to making DRAFTNIGHT.tv usable by people with disabilities and to providing meaningful access to our public website, account experience, commissioner tools, phone controllers, live draft displays, results, support, and purchasing flows.
Accessibility is an ongoing part of our product work. We welcome feedback from people who use assistive technology or encounter a barrier.
Accessibility standard
We are working toward substantial conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. WCAG provides recommendations for making web content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people with a wide range of disabilities.
This statement is not a certification that every page or feature currently conforms to every WCAG success criterion. DRAFTNIGHT is an evolving service, and we review accessibility as features and content change.
Measures we take
Accessibility measures used or planned for DRAFTNIGHT include:
- Semantic headings, landmarks, labels, buttons, and links intended to work with screen readers.
- Keyboard-operable navigation and controls, visible focus indicators, and alternatives to pointer-only interaction.
- Text and interface contrast designed for readability on phones, computers, and large displays.
- Responsive layouts that support browser zoom, text enlargement, and different screen sizes.
- Instructions and validation messages that do not rely on color alone.
- Reduced-motion behavior for people who request less animation through their device settings.
- Text alternatives for meaningful product imagery and decorative treatment that is hidden from assistive technology.
- Accessible names and status announcements for time-sensitive draft interactions where practical.
- Automated checks, keyboard review, and manual testing of important user journeys.
Live drafts and time-sensitive features
DRAFTNIGHT includes synchronized, time-sensitive features such as pick clocks, commissioner controls, team claiming, audio reactions, animations, and live updates. We aim to make essential draft information available without requiring a user to perceive sound, color, or animation alone.
Commissioners can help make a draft more accessible by selecting an appropriate timer, pausing when someone needs additional time, describing important visual events, avoiding flashing or distracting uploaded media, and providing another participant who can enter a pick when needed. If a disability-related barrier prevents someone from participating, contact us and we will work in good faith to identify a reasonable alternative.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of DRAFTNIGHT may not yet provide an equivalent experience for every user. Areas that may present limitations include:
- Fast-moving TV presentations, animated pick reveals, reaction overlays, and other broadcast-style effects.
- User-uploaded logos, images, audio, video, team names, and other content that DRAFTNIGHT LLC does not create or fully control.
- Audio clips that do not include transcripts or captions.
- Complex draft-board tables, drag-and-drop ordering, and dense commissioner configuration interfaces.
- Third-party authentication, checkout, support, or embedded services governed by another provider.
- Older browsers, devices, assistive technologies, or unusual browser and device combinations.
We do not use these limitations as a reason to deny assistance. Please report a barrier so we can investigate it and offer an alternative where reasonably possible.
Third-party and user content
Some DRAFTNIGHT functions rely on services operated by providers such as Clerk and Stripe, and commissioners may upload their own media. We encourage providers and users to supply accessible content, but we cannot guarantee the accessibility of content or interfaces outside our control. We will help identify an alternative way to complete a DRAFTNIGHT task when reasonably possible.
Compatibility
DRAFTNIGHT is designed for current versions of major browsers and commonly used assistive technologies. For the best experience, use an up-to-date browser and operating system. Browser extensions, custom settings, network restrictions, and older software may affect operation.
If a feature does not work with your setup, tell us the page or room screen involved, browser and device, assistive technology and version if applicable, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead. Do not send passwords, payment card details, host tokens, or room session tokens.
Request assistance or report a barrier
Email support@draftnight.tv with the subject “Accessibility request.” We aim to acknowledge accessibility messages within two business days and provide a substantive response or progress update within ten business days.
Please describe the affected page or feature, the barrier, your preferred format or accommodation, and the best way to reach you. We may ask limited follow-up questions needed to understand the issue. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or unnecessary medical information.
Available assistance may include accessible instructions, help completing a supported task, an alternative document format, or another reasonable method of accessing the relevant information or service.
Assessment and improvement
We periodically review key customer journeys and prioritize issues based on severity, number of people affected, and whether a barrier blocks account access, purchasing, league setup, joining, drafting, or support. We intend to update this statement as our accessibility practices and known limitations change.
