Draft Controls & Broadcast
Make picks from the phone controller, operate commissioner controls, and run the synchronized TV broadcast and draft board.
During the draft, team owners use their phone controllers to search and select players while the commissioner manages the room. The TV and draft-board views update from the same live draft state.

Search and filter players
Use the player search field to look up a name, NFL team, or supported position. Position chips narrow the list, and the sort control switches between available ranking options.
Drafted players are removed from the available pool. If a recently selected player still appears, wait briefly for synchronization before refreshing the controller.
Player rankings and ADP are guidance, not league projections or guarantees. Attribution for the data shown in DRAFTNIGHT is available on the Attributions page.
Make and confirm a pick
When your team is active:
- Find the player you want.
- Select the player to open the confirmation step.
- Verify the name, position, and NFL team.
- Confirm the pick once.
- Wait for the controller and TV to display the completed selection.
Do not repeatedly tap the confirmation button during a slow connection. If the pick does not appear, ask the commissioner to pause before trying another action.
Best available and roster views
The quick board groups top available players by configured positions. The roster view shows the players already assigned to your team and how they fit the league's roster slots.
These views help with decisions but do not automatically enforce every external fantasy platform's roster rule. The commissioner should compare the completed results with the league's official rules.
Commissioner live controls
The commissioner controller exposes room-level actions while the draft is active:
- Pause and resume the live draft when owners need time or a problem must be investigated.
- Undo the most recent eligible selection when a correction is required.
- Control whether configured soundboard reactions are enabled during the live event.
Announce a pause or undo before using it so owners do not submit against an outdated turn. After an undo, confirm the active team, timer, player availability, and TV display before resuming.
Keeper selections are part of the configured draft plan and are not treated exactly like ordinary live picks.
Reactions and soundboard
When reactions are enabled, owners can send the configured reaction buttons from their controllers. The TV presents the associated visual or sound treatment.
Prepare the TV broadcast
Connect a computer to the television or projector, open the room's TV link, and use landscape orientation. Enter browser fullscreen and keep the TV page focused when possible.
For sound:
- Confirm the computer output is routed to the television or venue speakers.
- Raise the system, browser, and display volume to a safe test level.
- Click or tap the TV page once so browser autoplay rules permit audio.
- Test a configured sound before owners arrive.
The TV can show the room code, current team, timer, pick history, best available players, pick reveals, pause state, and completed-draft presentation depending on the room state.
Use the draft board
The draft-board route emphasizes the round-and-team grid. It is useful as a second display or when the league wants to see pick ownership and results at a glance.
Live trading
When Live trading is enabled in draft settings, team owners can open the Trade Center from their controller during an active draft. Each team must include at least one asset, which can be an unfilled pick, a drafted player, or a keeper. Assets a team sends are committed to that outgoing offer, but other teams can make competing requests for the same player or pick. Accepting one offer automatically expires every overlapping offer. Offers expire after five minutes, and each team can have up to ten pending offers at once.
Live trading is not available during auction drafts. See Auction Nominations & Bidding for the controls used in an auction room.
Pending terms are visible only to the two participating owners. The recipient can accept or decline, and the sender can cancel. Accepted trades are announced to the room, appear league-wide in completed trade history, and remain available in the authenticated draft recap. If the on-the-clock pick changes hands, its full timer restarts; player-only trades do not change the clock. Drafting any pick in a pending offer expires that offer automatically.
Keep the TV broadcast as the primary presentation when using intros, pick reveals, audio, and reactions. Both displays can remain open at the same time.
Connection and timer recovery
If one controller disconnects, pause if necessary and have that owner reopen the same room. If every device stops updating, check your internet connection before refreshing all screens.
After recovery, compare the last completed pick on the commissioner controller, owner phone, and TV. Resume only when they agree on the active team and remaining time.
